한국 아티스트로 활동중인 KAZE PARK (박승우) 입니다.

"내 작품은 다양한 삶의 경험과 영감, 상상의 에너지로 구성되어 있다.

떠오르는 상상적 영감에서 진정한 가치를 찾는 것이 내가 추구하는 길이며

나는 그것을 예술이라고 생각한다."

사람들과 함께 다양한 재미요소들을 찾아가는 것이 행복이라 생각합니다.

여러 장르에서 오는 감각을 즐기며 사람들이 가진 에너지에 관심이 많습니다.

특히, 뮤지션, 아티스트, 스포츠 선수에게서 전해져오는 열정적 에너지는 아주 중요한 영감으로 작용합니다. 임펙트가 느껴지는 찰나의 순간과 자연적인 에너지를 느낄 때 강력한 영감을 떠올립니다. 우주와 같은 아직은 알지 못하는 미지의 영역에 대한 호기심이 끊이지 않습니다. 이러한 부분들이 영감의 원천 중 하나라 생각하며 무한한 상상력을 표현할 수 있는 예술의 매력은 굉장합니다.

한 가지 스타일에 국한되지 않고 여러가지 표현법으로 작품을 바라보고 합니다.

직관적인 페인팅에서부터 컴퓨터 그래픽을 활용한 디지털 페인팅 작업까지 자유로룸을 추구하는 작업 방식을 선호합니다.

현재 우주, 행성, 별과 보석 같은 자신만의 시그니처를 활용하여 작품을 만들고 있습니다.

I am currently active as KAZE PARK (Park Seungwoo), a Korean artist.

"My works are composed of various life experiences, inspirations, and the energy of imagination. Finding true value from emerging imaginative inspirations is the path I pursue. I consider that to be art."

I believe that finding various elements of fun with people is happiness. I am interested in the energy that people possess while enjoying sensations from various genres.

Especially, the passionate energy conveyed by musicians, artists, athletes, and others serves as a crucial inspiration. Strong inspirations are conveyed when feeling the momentary impact and natural energy. My curiosity about unknown areas, akin to the universe, remains unyielding. I consider these aspects as one of the sources of inspiration, and the allure of art, capable of expressing endless imagination, is tremendous.

I look at artworks through various expressions rather than confining to one style. I prefer a working method that pursues freedom, from intuitive painting to digital painting utilizing computer graphics.

Currently, I am creating artworks expressing my own signature, such as the universe, planets, stars, and clouds.

Experience develops imagination and imagination meets inspiration and is made into a artwork.

경험은 상상력을 키우고, 상상력은 영감과 함께 만나 작품으로 만들어진다.

The difference between 'liking' and 'loving'.

It is my idea of design and art.

Design is what I like to see and want to buy or make, and art is about expressing what I love.

Design can have practicality and convenience that everyone will like,

but art can be inconvenient and not everyone will love.

Also, to me, design/art is a form of life.

Because all the results are made by humans and for humans.

디자인과 예술에 대한 나의 생각.

디자인은 내가 사고 싶거나 만들고 싶은 것이고,

예술은 내가 사랑하는 것을 표현하는 것이다.

디자인은 모든 사람들이 좋아할 실용성과 편리함을 가지고 있다.

그러나 예술은 불편할 수 있고 모든 사람이 사랑하지는 않을 것이다.

디자인/예술은 '삶의 한 형태'이다.

왜냐하면 모든 결과물은 사람이 만드는 것이며, 사람을 위한 것이기 때문이다.

I am engaged in the process of taking the images that arise only in my head following the "metaphor"

that comes from sensation and expressing them in reality.

The biggest difference between humans and animals is that humans possess "imagination."

Imagination can turn everything with possibilities into something extraordinary and

can also be "expressed" as uniqueness through design or art.

The "fun" of expressing at the boundary of design and art!

Living while enjoying that is my "dream."

To adequately express the charm that only drawings possess,

experience is essential, and imagination through insight must be drawn out as much as possible in one's life.

The drawings recorded here are the "traces" of the life

I have walked so far and "the path I will walk in the future."

감각에서 오는 "메타포(metaphor)" 를 따라서 머리속에만 떠오르는 이미지를

현실로 끌어내 표현하는 작업을 하고 있다.

인간이 동물과 다른 가장 큰 차이점은 "상상력" 을 가졌다는 것이다.

상상력은 가능성을 가진 모든 것을 일반적이지 않은 것으로 만들 수 있으며,

독특함이라는 개성을 가질 수 있는 디자인이나 아트로 "표현" 되기도 한다.

디자인(design)과 아트(art)의 경계에서 표현하는 "재미"!

그것을 즐기며 사는 것이 나의 "꿈" 이다.

그림만이 가진 매력을 충분히 표현하기 위해선 경험이라는 것이 꼭 수반되어야 하며,

통창력(insight)을 통한 상상력이란 감각을 최대한 삶 속에서 끌어낼 수 있어야 한다.

여기에 기록된 나의 그림들은 지금까지 걸어온 삶의 "흔적"들이며,

"앞으로 걸어갈 나의 길이다."
